January 2006 - The DGB will begin recording the next CD at VuDu Studios in mid-February.  It should be a minimum 11 song CD.  We will be performing some of these songs live from now on.

December 2005 - The DGB have been writing many new songs for our next recording.   We will start performing them at our live shows.

October 2005 - Doug, Frank & Will perform acoustic set at elementary school in Queens for Hurricane Katrina benefit.

February 2006 -The DGB has spent long hours at Vudu Studios in Freeport, NY recording songs for the up and coming CD.  With the expertise of Engineer/Producer Bob Stander the band is really taking a giant leap towards our goal.  So far seven out of the twelve songs are on thier way and sound incredible! 

March 2006 – The DGB will be on “The Jerry & Louise Show” on Channel 20 – in NY. It is footage from the 2006 Concert Series hosted by Radio X and Inside Connection Magazine. It will be aired four weeks in a row starting April 14th at midnight. We also have been invited to be showcased on their show in the near future. Stay tuned!

April 2006 – The DGB received a short but very good review in the “On Stage” section in the April issue of Inside Connection magazine. The review is from the Spotlight Concert Series at The Hairy Lemon.

May 2006 - Thanks to the partnership between CD Baby & Super D, one of the largest one-stop CD distributors in America, our CD is now available to over 2400 physical CD stores in America and worldwide. 

June 2006 – Once again Mike Ferrari from Inside Connection magazine gives The DGB a good review in the Local Scene section of the June issue.

June 2006 – AJ and his wife, Elise, have a new baby, Jack.

July 2006 -  Will & and Ken schmooze some record execs during an event hosted by Inside Connection magazine and Radio X.
 
July 2006 - Richie sports a new set of skins!
September 2006 -  After 2 years of dedication, bass player AJ Reigger has left the band.  We will be holding auditions for the opening.
October 2006 - Bass player, Warren Kurz, has joined on with the band .

October 2006 - The DGB will be featured on the Jerry & Louise Show (channel 20 on cable) for the whole month of November. Every Saturday at 1:00 am or late Friday night. It is footage from The Walk for Mental Health Benefit show at Hecksher Park, Huntington, NY.

January 2007 - Will and Ken will be guests on Mike Ferrari's radio show on 88.1 FM on February 10th at 5:00pm promoting the upcoming show at Katie's in Smithtown. 
February 2007 - DGB qualifies for The Spotlight Concert Series Showcase.  This is a concert that will be held at The Patchogue Theater of Performing Arts sometime later this year.  Each band that qualifies gets to perform in front of representatives from major and independent record labels.
March 2007 - DGB will spend countless hours this month at VuDu Studios to get a huge leg up on the very well anticipted new CD release.  There are 6 songs close to being finished and we will attempt to get the bulk of another 4 songs recorded. 
 
March 2007 - DGB has moved on to the 2nd round of The Emergenza Festival.  It is the concert held at The Hook in Brooklyn, NY at the end of the month.  With a slim turnout for the band in Brooklyn for the first round, Emergenza bent the rules and advanced the band just on our talent and performance.  Something that is very rare in these stages of a major competition
 
June 2007 - Frank layed down more tracks at Parcheesi Records for the songs "Misled" & "I Looked Up To You" for the upcoming CD.

May 2007 - DGB was invited to perform at Brookhaven Ampitheater on July 7th for  the Global Warming Festival.

April 2007 - DGB was mentioned (photo) in Aural Fix Magazine from the performance at Katies of Smithtown.

 

October 2007 - Ken and Richie start laying down backup vocals (harmonies) to "Misled, "Broken" &
 "How Deep Is The Ocean".

August 2007 - Will and Ken lay more tracks for the tunes "Bad Boys From New York", "Misled", and
 "I Looked Up To You".

October 2007 - Doug and Will represent the band in the awards party for the Long Island Music Festival at Artana's Rock Saloon in Wantagh. As a semi-finalist band, we received prize packages of gift certificates to local studios and stores.    
October 2007 - DGB's new song "Broken" is submitted to be part of "The Best of Long Island Compilation CD". This CD is sent to 240 local clubs, plus record company A&R people, area radio stations and is heavily promoted at the Good Times booths at:

SXSW
NEMO
Plus other Regional Music Festivals
 
November 2007  Warren, Frank and Doug lay down tracks for the songs "Vital Signs", "The Preacher's Song", "Black" and "Children Of The Night" at Vudu Studios.
January 2008 -  4 new songs have been posted on our myspace site. These songs are quick mixes. They are not mastered yet. Just a taste of some of the new material.

January 2008 – Ken, Doug and Frank lay down more tracks for the song ”Children of the Night” at
 Parcheesi Records.

April 2008 – "Broken" is played on "The Indie Revolution" radio program on 100.9 WMIR NY as part of a promotion for the "Rock for the Arts" benefit show.
