Born on the 18th of May 1955, in Oceanside, New York, I grew up in Bellmore.

I started playing drums at age 12, but was banging on anything like drums as long I can remember. My first musical training came on the Trumpet, and later the French horn, but I always was a drummer at heart.
With some friends, played parties and talent shows throughout high school
with our band, “Lightning”.
After a 6 year stint in the Navy as an Electronics Technician, during which I learned to play guitar, (much easier to carry than drums), I came home to play drums in a band with my brothers, “Alaska”, doing Rush copies and original compositions, while working in the electronics field as my real job.

After a 10 year break to get married and have two daughters, fate stepped in and brought Doug and I together, and I am now back in the flow, so to speak.
My influences on drums are many but my all time favorites are Neil Peart,
Terri Bozio, Bill Bruford, Ginger Baker, Michael Giles and a host of others.
